In section Assignments, the first gradebook is the default gradebook, which has all users assignments for the whole section. 

     


To create another gradebook with certain assignments, click the + button in the upper left corner

      

This shows you a list of the assignments in the section 

     

By unchecking an assignment, it is removed from view in the gradebook

    

After creating a new gradebook template, click the Save button in the upper right

     

     
When you save, a new screen will let you title your new gradebook. Click Save

    

Refresh the page

Use the buttons in the upper right corner to select which gradebook to view or delete a gradebook. 

           


What is the point of this?
Creating different gradebooks with certain assignments can be helpful when it comes to creating reports, exporting a certain group of assignments without exporting all of them in a section or using it to control iPath.
